Hello, I would like to ask about the difference between 3c and 5c
lithium batteries of 18650 and their respective discharge currents with
capacities of 2000 and 2200 amps
The difference is capacity. The
3c and 5c of the 18650 lithium battery refer to the discharge rate of
the lithium battery, and 1C represents the current discharge of 1 times
the capacity. The discharge current of 2000mah lithium battery 3C is 6A,
the discharge current of 2200mah lithium battery 3C is 6.6A, and the
discharge current of 2000mah lithium battery 5C is 10A.
Factors that limit the charge and discharge rate performance of lithium batteries:
Internal resistance of lithium battery
Generally,
a conductive agent is added inside the positive electrode active
material to reduce the contact resistance between the active materials,
the active material and the positive electrode matrix/current collector,
improve the electrical conductivity (ionic and electronic conductivity)
of the positive electrode material, and increase the rate performance.
Conductive agents of different materials and shapes will affect the
internal resistance of lithium batteries, thereby affecting their rate
performance.
