The difference between cr2450 and cr2032
In the transverse
direction of the double-fold fiber core, a glass part with a large
thermal expansion coefficient and a circular cross-section is set.
During fiber drawing at high temperatures, these portions shrink,
resulting in tension in the y-direction of the core and compressive
stress in the x-direction.
It causes the photoelastic effect of
the fiber material, and makes the refractive index differ in the X
direction and the Y direction. According to this principle, the
polarization is kept constant.
