Circuit using CR2032 button battery

The circuit diagram of a simple LED circuit using a CR2032 coin cell battery is shown below. The components needed to build this circuit are an LED, a CR2032 coin cell, a resistor, and a switch. The connection of all components can be done as per the circuit diagram shown below.

The button cell provides a nominal voltage of 3V. For the LED to light up, a minimum voltage of 2.2V is required. Therefore, a resistor is used in this circuit for current limiting and protection purposes. When the switch is pressed the LED will light up and if it is removed the LED will turn off.
