The following types of button batteries are common:
1. Silver peroxide button type battery: the battery has basically the same structure as the silver oxide button type battery, and its difference is mainly due to that the anode material of the silver peroxide button type battery is silver peroxide.
2. Silver oxide battery: the button type battery has the characteristics of long service life, large capacity, etc., and is widely used. The battery uses silver oxide as the positive electrode, metal zinc powder as the negative electrode, and the electrolyte is potassium hydroxide or sodium hydroxide. The electric energy is generated due to the chemical action of zinc and silver oxide.
The thickness (i.e. height) of silver oxide button battery is 5.4mm, 4.2mm, 3.6mm, 2.6mm and 2.1mm, and its diameter is 11.6mm, 9.5mm, 7.9mm and 6.8mm. One of them shall be selected according to its location. The commonly used models are SR44, SR41, SR1130, SR626, etc;
3. Lithium button battery: the battery has the advantages of high energy density, good storage performance, small self discharge capacity, long service life, etc. But the disadvantage is that the internal resistance of the battery is large. The positive pole of the battery is made of manganese dioxide or iron disulfide as raw materials, the negative pole is lithium, and the electrolyte is organic matter. Generally, CR2450, CR2032, CR2025, CR2016, etc. The nominal voltage of Li Moon battery is 3V.
4. Alkaline manganese button battery: the battery has large capacity, excellent low-temperature performance, cheap materials and low price, which can meet the requirements of continuous discharge with large current demand. Its disadvantage is that the energy density is not enough and the discharge voltage is not stable enough. The positive pole of the battery is made of manganese dioxide, the negative pole is made of zinc, and the electrolyte is potassium hydroxide. Its nominal voltage is 1.5V.
