What is the difference between cr2025 and cr 2032 button batteries

The difference is as follows:

1. The sizes are different.

The numbers after CR represent the battery size, the first two digits represent the diameter, and the last two digits represent the thickness.

2032=20.0*3.2mm

2025=20.0*2.5mm

2. The capacity is different.

2025 is thinner than 2032, so it has less capacity and shorter service life. Both CR2032 and CR2025 are 3V lithium-manganese button batteries, both of which have the same voltage, and can be used interchangeably if necessary.

3. The discharge current is different.

CR2032 can withstand a maximum continuous current of 20mA, while CR2025 can usually only withstand a discharge current of 10mA, so when selecting a model, it should be matched according to the actual current used by your product.
